I really like this read light therapy for the focused narrow beam and attachment for use on small areas. The device is very solid and well built and performs well with a very strong concentrated red and IR light. The controls are easy to understand. I'm somewhat ambivalent about the need to have the device plugged in for operation. I'm used to battery operated lights, on the other hand, I can understand the logic of this setup. Without a battery, there's no need for recharging. The electric cable has a ubiquitous USB A plug. The light allows you to choose between 3 levels of power (50%, 75%, and 100%) and the timer can be set from 10 to 60 seconds. I would have like a longer duration up to 3 minutes but it's not hard to repress the power button.
TRAVEL
This comes in a magnetic case good for travel. There is foam with cutouts for the charging cable, the handle, and the red light tip.
EASE
It is easy to push the red light tip onto the handle. There are three buttons that adjust time, light power, and to power it on and off. The durable metal handle is easy to hold and allows easy control of where the light points. The bright display is easy to read in accordance with the instructions.
RED LIGHT
I can feel the heat of the red light when I place this close to my skin. It comes with a soft cap placed right on the red light tip.
This is for more than cold sores! I got it because I have successfully used red light therapy in the past and highly recommend it. It takes a standard USB power brick, I have several laying around so not a big issue. This is great for small wounds (cuts, abrasions) acne etc. I would be skeptical if I haven't used things like this in the past with great success.
This is really convenient and very easy to use. The red light is bright and appears to be doing what it should be doing.
As far as the tool goes, it's small, lightweight, easy to hold, and awesome that it's rechargeable. The tip has a nice curve to it to get exactly where you need to get to.
